Mindfulness

Mindfulness can be defined as 'being fully in the moment' or 'knowing what is happening, while it is happening, no matter what'

Easier said than done! b
Mindfulness is about living in the present, about being more awake and alive to our lives rather than operating from a sort of 'automatic pilot' in which we can be cut off from our experience.
The essence of mindfulness is practice - allowing the skills that are already present to come to the surface and become part of our daily life.

Why do it?
~ scientific research has conclusive evidence that being mindful brings many health benefits
~ helps enormously with stress
~ helps us be in touch with ourselves and achieve our potential
~ helps us have a tranquil mind which allows clarity of thought

I have been practising mindfulness since July 2010, and I notice enormous benefits - much calmer, more relaxed and at peace with myself.
People are now commenting - 'Angela you are so comfortable with who you are'; 'you have lovely peaceful energy'; 'you are an inspiration'

"Everything we need is already here"
